Loop/Konnect Audio Console Overview

Updated on

The audio system in Loop and Konnect is set up for easy use. This article will go over the audio console, what each knob does, and how it is used at Life.Church.

The Front Surface - Shure Stereo Mixer:

1. Individual channel volume knobs - These are the suggested knobs to use when adjusting volume. We use Mic 1, Mic 2, and Stereo 1. Mic 1 and Mic 2 are labeled for the corresponding microphones; Stereo 1 is used for video volume.

2. Master Bass and Treble knobs - These knobs control the bass and treble for all channels. This mixer does not have individual channel bass and treble controls.

3. Master volume knob - This knob controls the overall volume outputting from the mixer. When this knob is adjusted, all channels are affected.

Best Practices

Do not adjust the master volume knob unless absolutely necessary. Use the individual channel volume knobs to adjust volumes.

When increasing volume, talk into the mic and slowly increase the volume until it reaches a proper volume. This helps avoid negative feedback when the experience starts. We try to keep these knobs near the 12:00 position, so please use your best judgement when turning the knobs up.
