RESI (formerly known as Living As One) is a video playback device that we use for portable locations at Life.Church. This Article lays out the Life.Church workflow for worship pastors and video volunteers as well as provides suggested troubleshooting steps.
- Download the Sermon ProPresenter file from Distribute on Saturday night or early Sunday AM.
Bring the sermon on an external drive Sunday morning.
- As soon as the video rack is up and running, upload the sermon into ProPresenter.
Scrub through sermon to check playability.
Ensure play behavior is set to Stop and not Loop.
Always test Audio from all Video sources
- Connect power, data, and network connections to video rack

Your backup data option is an LTE modem via USB.
The Resi decoder will not login without a connection to the internet
- The username is the three-letter campus code (e.g. YKN, BNB, EDM).
- The password is the Life.Church standard for FOH computers.
- The Life.Church tech team holds the ability to change user information for our encoders and decoders.
- Once Resi is online, click "test settings" to test the Network connection.
- This should be 7.5MB or greater. If the connection is below 1MB, it may be best to find a new connection such as a mobile phone with shared data or hotspot capabilities.
- Begin downloading/fully caching the 8:30 service at 9:00 AM.
- Add "Message Start" cue to software

- Cut to Pro Tools at Start Time for Stories/Worship

- Cut to Pro Presenter
- Toggle through campus slides with the Campus Pastor
- Once CP is finished with announcements park Pro Presenter on Campus Slide
- When CP says “...let’s go now to Pastor Craig.”
- Press Play on the Streamdeck.
- Cut to LA1 on Sony Switcher
- Press Play on Pro Presenter backup message and maintain about 5 second behind Resi.
This is for backup only...let this run in the BG
If something happens with decoder/message cut assertively to Pro Presenter
- When Pastor Craig Groeschel begins the close and it is evident you will not need backup source:
- Cut Pro Presenter back to Campus Slide.
- When Pastor Craig says "...lift your hands right now!” Cut Sony Switcher to PP.

Note: The Resi support team can "TeamViewer" into the decoder to work through support issues. On the support tab of the decoder you can enable TeamViewer for their remote access. Please do not have the TeamViewer option enabled during a service.
