This article will walk you through a few different steps to troubleshoot why you may not have audio from the satellite receiver. Although this is not a complete guide and not everything gets covered, these are the most common reasons we find that a location might loose audio from the satellite receiver.
Most Common Steps to Troubleshoot - No Audio from Satellite
Is audio coming through the switcher from any other device?
- If you do have audio from another device such as the KiPro, proceed to the next step in this article.
- If you do not have audio from any other source, please use Dialpad to call the Tech Help Desk.
Reboot the satellite receiver.
We often find that a receiver will boot up for the day and will receive video, but not audio. Often times, a simple reboot fixes the issue. Visit our article Rebooting the Harmonic ProView Satellite Receiver to walk you through this process.
